When our candidates claim to fight against the special interests in our government they are usually referring to the trial lawyers, the NRA, the teachers’s union, the oil lobby, the Israel lobby (never the Arab Lobby), the unions etc…
The most dangerous special interest group in my opinion is government bureaucrats. They push solutions that involve high paid government positions that pretend to work in the best interests ofthe American people, while creating power structures that are rarely held accountable, yet provide lucrative positions for its administrators. Once intitiated their power grows by growing their budget.
Be cautious and skeptical of government solutions offered during the campaign. It is most likely just another special interest.
