Here is my personal voting strategy for this election.

The reality, some would say the inevitability, is that the House and Senate will be Democrat.

With a Democrat President there would be little to impede their agenda. High on their agenda is some form of National Health Care. This is a major concern for three reasons:

1. Once a National Health Care Plan is put in place it will never be removed. No one who gets health care for free will ever settle for anything less. Such irreversible decisions should be made slowly and carefully. Much of the information used to justify such a program is false and misleading.

2. We are facing a major financial crisis because of Social Security and Medicare. The costs of these programs have outrun the most pessimistic projections. My daughter who is now 16 will be facing intolerable payroll taxes when she enters her working years because of the shear demographic reality facing these EXISTING programs.

3. An addition of a very expensive health insurance program to this mix is a pending fiscal disaster. Those who think the federal government will make any system more efficient are simply drinking their own bong water.

The most critical domestic issue for me is to stop the oncoming train that promotes to nationalize our health care. There are many problems with our health care system, and government will have a role, but the style of nationalization being proposed by the three leading Democrats is simply a pending financial disaster. It would require higher taxes than anyone is considering, and a reduction in the quality and the availability of health services.

My primary domestic concern when I vote is to stop that train.

Government’s biggest problem is:

1. They want to provide a service without having to pay for it, and….
2. They do not know how to say ‘no’ to a worthwhile project they can not afford.
