Irony is one of the most interesting concepts in the world, especially in relation to the more earth-shattering events, but what I think is more interesting is how ignorance and arrogance are the two sources of fuel for irony. E.g., Long Term Capital Management: how more freaking ironic/arrogant/ignorant can you get?
