With the hated George Bush gone and with the Republican in a solid minority position, we are starting to see the Democrats engage in infighting that was recently rare.
Reid spoke against the Burris appointment; Diane Feinstein spoke against Leon Panetta’s appointment to the CIA. Panetta has no security experience and she chairs the committee, and was not advised or consulted.
I have contended that Obama’s biggest problems will come from his own party. The far left that nominated him has already complained about many of his centrist appointments and his lack of condemnation against Israel’s incursion into Gaza. And he hadn’t even been sworn in yet.
