One of the necessary requirements of a leader is to get honest dissent and information during the decision phase, but once a decision is made they must switch and require strict allegience to the decision made. If a team member cannot respect and implement the decision he should resign or be removed.

Bush tolerated too much infighting from his cabinet after the decision to invade Iraq. While they supported the decision to invade they argued on the procedures and policies.

Apparently Hillary also tolerated too much dissent from her team, as we learn about her post mortem campaign failures. Big goals are hard to obtain with team members working against each other.

There is a time for listening and a time for commitment. A good leader must know the different requirements of each.
