The Republican Party is more screwed up that I can remember. The dollar is devalued, the deficit has soared and the Republican President is more unpopular than any in recent history. Party hardliners have openly opposed the nominee. This should have been a gift to the Democratic Party who rules both houses of Congress.

Yet the Democrats are bitterly divided and destroying itself in a power mad grab for the highest position. If Hillary wins, the Obama crowd will feel screwed. If Obama wins he will be seen as too far left to win. It takes real effort to screw up the advantage they were given.

They will not seat delegates from Florida and Michigan, alienating two critical states, and the elitist power handed to the Super Delegates threatens to disenfranchise nearly half of the voters.

If they lose this election, it is the fault of the party leaders who built this ridiculous system that proved their undoing.
