There are those who belive that the Republicans have mishandled our foreign policy so badly that they just can not stomach the thought of returning any of them to office at any level.

Then there is a growing group (growing fast I hope) that believes that the Democrats have brought us the greatest financial disaster in over 50 years as result of pushing liberal policies with the best of intentions while ignoring any resemblence of economic reality. I do not believe that any of them deserve to be returned to office.

The Republicans at least got substantial Democratic support to invade Iraq and most of their leaders were calling to depose Saddam before Bush was ever elected. You would never know that to listen to them today. They ignore foreign policy sucesses in India, Libya, Korea, and Afghanistan. It even appears we may muddle through to some form of success in Iraq.

Only the partisan blind can ignore the Democrat’s culpability for this economic crisis dating specifically back to the Clinton presidency. Yet they still shamelessly blame Bush and the Republicans. No less a disaster than Jimmy Carter blames Bush while visting overseas.

Carvill’s word should come back to haunt his party; “It’s the economy stupid.”

The Democrats have delivered us an economic disaster.
