When Obama’s campaign began it was about “change”. The mortgage market was collapsing, real estate was falling, the dollar was dropping like a rock, gas and food prices were soaring, and most of all the war was still a quagmire.

Most of the economic bad news is behind us, oil is dropping (as I predicted), the dollar is recovering, and Iraq is looking more and more like a victory rescued from the jaws of the surrender monkeys. George Bush is featured on the front page of Newsweek in an article, “What George Bush Got Right.”

Terrorism has declined worldwide and the economy is recovering, having avoided the recession so many thought inevitable. The share prices of the evil oil companies have dropped 20%.

Will Obama’s promise of “change” be able to adapt to the changing political landscape?
